JACK WILLIAMS

Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars, Watertown

 

Jack started coaching in 1946 at Van Hornesville Central School (now Owen D. Young) where he as for 1 1/2 years, with Bob Woodruff. From Van Hornesville, Jack went to Watertown High Schoool for 1 1/2 years. One year, Jack had seven sectional champions. He won a number of times while at Watertown before going on to a business career.

During the time he left Watertown and the time he returned to coaching at North Syracuse and Cicero, Jack was active in officiating, doing college as well as high school matches.

While at Cicero, Jack again began to produce more sectional champions.

Jack was a member of the Section III Wrestling Committee as well as a recipient of the New York Wrestling Hall of Fame Award.
