Richfield Springs Indians
Richard \"Dick\" Nostrant graduated from Cortland State College in 1950. Later he earned his MS from Syracuse University and Ononeonta State College. In the early 50s, Dick coached very successfully at Richfield Springs.
While coaching at Richfield Springs, he had eight league champions and tied for the league championship once. In sectional competition, Dick had six individual champions and tied for the sectional title once.
While in college, Nostrant was a fine wrestler for Cortland State. He was also an active official for a few years.
